Celebrate the life of Edith Franklin and help support Edith's life and work, and the Youth Arts Fund she created to ensure the promise of Toledo's young artists of the future. Join us as we celebrate at the Secor Gallery, 425 Jefferson Ave., Toledo on Sunday, November 11 from 1-4 p.m. Selected archival works by Edith and personal mementos will be sold at her request, along with other local artists' works donated in her honor. All event proceeds go to the Edith Franklin Youth Arts Fund at the Toledo Community Foundation. Donations to the fund may be made at the event or mailed to The Arts Commission (1838 Parkwood Ave., #120, Toledo, OH 43604). RSVP requested, 419-254-2787.

Won't load on iPad :-(
ReplyDeleteNo, the videos that I've posted on this blogger site won't load on the iPad--they're viewable on a regular computer, however. If anyone knows how to format the video for the iPad, let me know. This particular one had to be turned 90 degrees (by Joel Washing, Abovetheshopstudios.com) since I took it with the camera held sideways in order not to cut my head off. Joel said:
ReplyDelete"I flipped it and exported it as quicktime file. It is small enough to send to you through email now." The other videos were loaded directly from the iPhoto files.
Update: I have recently learned that if you have one of the newer (newest?0 iPads, then you CAN see the videos on the blogger site.......
