| my quick response code |
It's time for me to design the ad for the Toledo Symphony! I'm always taken by surprise by the seemingly sudden passage of a year, and I have to think what I was going to do for the ad, this time! I use one of my photos of pottery, done in color, and then select the b/w aspect of the
iphoto program. Next, because I haven't yet started learning about '
photoshop's capabilities, I email Wesley Hanson, who puts the text and photo together for me, and then sends it off to the Symphony. This year, with the help of Miriam Stewart, who is a weaver, and her husband, Junior Murrell, I was able to link to a QuickResponse code, which I have when I'm in an art fair booth, and now have also put onto the Symphony ad. If you have a smart phone, and have downloaded an '
app' for it......then you can take a photo of the
qr code and it will take you to this blog. Junior says that one of the more useful apps for the qr code is one which will also read bar codes. It's called: mobile tag reader. I suppose it's also 'data-mining'-------
When I finish figuring out how to get the pdf file of the actual ad transferred to this blog, I'll add it to this page---or maybe put it over to the right side. So far, I've not figured it out, however, so don't click on the current photos--they won't go anywhere.....
